this is my life...

greyson is at such a fun age, but also at a very difficult age! he is so curious about everything and is full of personality. he wants to do things himself and is very strong willed. there were times this week where i was ready to pull my hair out because of something he did or said and then there were other times where i just felt completely blessed that God chose me to be his mom! i have to share a few things he did...only because i can laugh about them now!
he decided to mop for me while i was in the shower. sounds nice doesn't it? well, this little boy knew he needed the floor to be wet in order to do this so he decided to PEE all over the floor. yep, definitely wanted to pull my hair out from this one!

he also decided the cactus needed a drink. he filled it so full with water that dirt ran everywhere. it was a muddy mess. when he came to tell me about it, he was jumping up and down and dirt was flying off of him. yet another moment i wanted to pull my hair out!

he knows when he is doing something he shouldn't do because when you ask him what he was up to he says, "just nothin, just nothing," all while making the cutest (and orneriest) smirk. or he responds with "i don't wanna say." i know i need to be worried when those words come out of his mouth! just yesterday he said these words and we found out exactly what he was up to when john went to the bathroom and couldn't flush the toilet. he then tried the sink and it wouldn't turn on either. greyson had shut off the water to both the toilet and sink. he simply can't be left alone for more than a second! this is one of the times that i had to laugh because it was a simple fix!

even though he is a handful and keeps us on our toes, he does redeem himself by saying some of the sweetest things like "i want to keep you forever mommy" and "i just love you so much." it's at those times when i'm reminded how blessed i am. :)

kenna also gave us some challenges this week. her acid reflux began causing her enough pain that she would scream and get really stiff for several hours a night. the first night this happened, i thought it was just something i ate, but then it continued to happen for five straight nights. she cried and spit up more in those five nights than she did in the first six weeks of her life. i knew it had to be reflux and finally called the doctor. now she is on medicine and is doing much better. some nights she isn't bothered by the reflux at all and then other nights she still is, but not as badly as those first five nights. i'm praying that this isn't something that she has to deal with forever and that she'll outgrow it quickly.

ahhh, this is my life...and i wouldn't have it any other way!
