sunday morning i woke up waaayyyy to early to head to chicago with jenn and jess. this was my second year to
go with them (alicia, we missed you!). i was looking forward to the trip from the first few moments the plans were in the works. we took the southshore train and used the time wisely, taking cat naps while listening to our ipods. once we got to chicago we went to millennium park to see the bean and what else it had to offer. then we hit a few stores and searched for the same pizza place we ate at last year. they have the best deep dish pizza. our waiter-mr. no personality, say two words to us the whole time-was the same waiter we had last year. how random is that!?! after lunch we headed back out to the streets to do a little more shopping. i was able to get a few things for john and greyson for christmas
(i'm already getting in the mood for christmas-only 4 more months!). we had the perfect weather and it was fun to spend this time with jenn and jess. we made our train with plenty of time and headed back to south bend. it was a splendid day. thanks for the fun girls!

Jessica...it was a BLAST!! Thanks tons for going with us...Alicia we did miss you :) The weather was perfect and the bean and mr. no personality will definitely be memories I will cherish :) Seriously...it was a great time and I really enjoyed getting to know you more :)
it was such a great time with great friends and i am still full from that pizza, or maybe it was the delicious frozen yogurt :). ha! thanks so much for coming...so glad we didn't scare you off :). can't wait to see you soon!!! yea! love ya lots..m.e.
Ok...so no one told the story about the frozen yogurt. I saw pictures on Jenn's blog...what's the deal?!?!? :)
it's so good that you actually made your train on time! i've never been to the bean thing in chicago! i want to take pictures there...that's cool!! how's your week going??
