{we're going to the chapel & new year's celebration}

this weekend was lots of fun.  we had a wedding reception and a wedding to attend.  the kids came with us to the wedding reception for matt and becca and kenna had a blast chasing around a little boy who was one month younger than her.  she also danced up a storm (don't mind the blurry pic...taken with a camera phone).  greyson was much more reserved and wouldn't dance, but he still had fun.  we were able to catch up with some friends who we rarely see so that was an added bonus.  congrats to the beautiful couple!

on sunday we traveled to covington, ky with nate, matt, and alicia to go to jenn's wedding.  we arrived in plenty of time so the girls got a nap in and the boys went to a local bar to watch the bears game.  the wedding ceremony was beautiful and the food was great.  we had so much fun dancing the night away and celebrating the marriage of jenn and jared. 

 

we arrived home late afternoon on new year's eve.  the frye's still had their annual party even though they had to be exhausted from the wedding.  we were all tired so we kept the night pretty low key.  we played euchre, ate lots of food, and played some board games.  it's always fun to ring in the new year with friends!

this is the only picture i took that night.  the kids were performing a play that grace wrote.  i just love how much fun all our kids have together.  what a great group of kids!
