andrea, abby, and applebees

nights like this make me wish i were still in college. remember those days where you had little cares, could stay out as late as you wanted, and were surrounded by friends 24/7? well tonight i met up with two friends whom i rarely see from college. abby moved to virgina after graduation and it's been four years since we've seen each other. andrea lives in columbia city but we usually only see each other once or twice a year. tonight we met up in warsaw and dined at applebees. i think we outwore our welcome because we sat for a long time just talking after we were done eating. finally we decided to give up our table and head to ritters (i NEVER turn down ice cream!!). it was wonderful talking about our ed. classes, old classmates, camping trips, and other random times we shared, along with what has been happening in our lives since. it seems like we haven't spent anytime apart and were able to pick up right where we left off. i cherish these times and thank God for putting these girls in my life. no matter how great i think it would be to be back in college, i realize i wouldn't want to be anywhere but here with my adorable son and husband. :) God is good!
