partied out...

this weekend was wonderful although very busy. saturday john and i headed to his boss' farewell party. i was not looking forward to it, because i don't know his co-workers very well and they are all older. boy was i surprised when i had FUN. it was nice to see these people in a relaxed setting...sitting around eating (there was SOOO much food, and it was all wonderful!), talking and having a doubles ping pong tourney. i was placed with a guy who is pretty good and we made it to the championship round. hopefully this will make the annual business meeting more fun in december. we stayed way too late but when we got home my parents already had greyson sound asleep. i'm so thankful for parents who will drop anything to watch our little one.


sunday we had a farewell picnic for our associate pastor after church. it's unfortunate circumstances and we all hate to see him leave but we know God has a plan. thankfully it turned out to be a perfect day for a cookout. of course there was lots of yummy food and we had a great time fellowshipping with our church family. greyson even had a great day at church (usually sundays are really rough on him).


sunday afternoon we headed to the fervida's lake house to enjoy the afternoon on the boat, jet ski, playing games, chatting, and of course eating. i just love friends. we are so blessed and we always have a great time.

you would think after all of this "partying" i'd be tired...and i am, but i can't sleep. maybe i should try again...goodnight to all, and to all a goodnight! :)
