{greyson-five years}

greyson, today you turn five years old!  you are so full of personality. you crack me up all the time and i wonder how you come up with some of the things you say.  you are very energetic and are constantly on the move. you love to wrestle, swim, fish, and anything that has to do with tractors or four wheelers.  you are obsessed with tools and love to help grandpa john in his shop.  you have done an excellent job in preschool and have only had to sit in the time out chair once. :)

 



you love to play in the office and pretend you are working like daddy does. you also like to play dentist. you make us sit in the office chair, pull up the x-ray of your teeth on the computer, and give us a diagnosis of our teeth.  you love to go to church and sing songs.

 

you are shy when you are around people you don't know but warm up rather quickly.  you are advancing so much in swim lessons and can swim a good 20 feet.  you can memorize songs and verses very easily.  you wanted nothing to do with learning the alphabet or writing your name until daddy bribed you about going on his annual fishing trip to the upper peninsula.  you learned them in no time flat.    

 



last year i started a new tradition and ask you these questions every birthday.  most of your answers changed, but a few stayed the same.

13. What is your favorite cereal? captain crunch
14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? fish with your daddy
15. What is your favorite drink? kool-aid
16. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas
17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? giraffey (a stuffed giraffe)
18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? a breakfast bar
19. What is your favorite store? Menards
20. What do you want to be when you grow up? a cement driver
21.  Is there anything else you want me to know about you?  I write my name good.
