friday after work the kids and i made cookies. they love to help and had fun pouring, stirring, and mixing. of course, there was quite a bit of dough eating as well. how can i stop them when i enjoy doing it too? :)
we had a very low key weekend and spent most of it lounging around the house. we painted with corn syrup and food coloring-something i had seen on pinterest. the kids loved the vibrant colors and loved that it shined when it dried. i'm thinking we might have to use this on canvas and see how it does...maybe an easter project is in the making.

How fun! My kiddos loved painting! Landon was glad it wasn't finger painting and Emerson was upset that she forgot to take it home (luckily she has since forgotten about it! :)).
