{mickey/minnie birthday party}

we celebrated the kids' birthday with family and a few friends (who are like family).  while i can still get away with it, i'm having joint birthday parties for greyson and kenna.  it's hard to think of a theme that will fit them both.  thankfully, when I suggested the idea of a minnie/mickey party to greyson, he was excited (even though he thinks mickey's clubhouse is for babies).

my mom made the cakes...she used to always make cakes like this for me and my siblings when we were growing up. kenna managed to get her fingers on minnie's face before the guest arrived.

love this picture of the four of us together. happy second birthday to our sweet kenna and fifth birthday to our handsome boy greyson!

 greyson tore through his presents (no manners for sure! i was so embarrassed and i even talked to him before about saying thank you, etc. etc.) so quickly that i have no idea who got him what.  however, he did get some great gifts and we are stocked up on summer clothes.  so thank you! :) we saved our gift until last and you the above pictures is what he did when saw it wheeling around the corner.

 kenna opened a few gifts but was easily distracted so i opened most of them and showed her what she got.  she also got some wonderful toys and adorable clothes.  we also saved her present for last since it couldn't be wrapped.  i don't think she knew what to think of her kitchen at first, but then she seemed to enjoy it.
thank you friends and family for celebrating our precious little munchkins! they are so blessed to have you in their lives.

What a great party! It looks like the kids loved it and enjoyed their gifts. It's nice to see Charles Barkley made it to the party also. ;)

It was an incredible party!!! You always do such a good job! But most importantly, it was awesome to be able to celebrate those precious kids of yours! I just love their personalities. Jess

We had such a fun time and the kids loved playing with each other (and the new toys). Thanks for asking us to help celebrate your two super kiddos!
