{some more summer fun}

i think this summer will go down in the books as the busiest (until next summer i'm sure). we are always on the go.  we love being on the move, even though it is challenging at times.  greyson has enjoyed being in many sport camps and while he's there, the rest of us hang out at the park, walk on the bike path, or play at our school.  when we don't have any where to go, we spend lots of time outside at our house.  the kids love finding baby toads, riding four-wheelers, and playing on our playground.

 

greyson and kenna both took swimming lessons this year at the public pool.  we haven't taken them there in a long time and i thought they did a great job with the kids.  both of them moved up a level...yay! 



a few weeks ago we went to the fort wayne tincaps vs. the south bend cubs game with anderson alumni.  tara and michael met us there and we had a great time despite the horrible weather.  it was wet and chilly, but after a rain delay and a good dinner, we had a great time catching up and watching a little baseball.

 

last week we went to wabash and spent the day with my college roommates.  the kids get along so well and we always have so much fun with everyone.  we were missing three out of our thirteen children, but you can imagine how much we were on the move. 

 

 

we started the day at rach's house, then we had a picnic at the park, and went for ice cream.  after that we went to the wabash historical museum where they had a great section for the kids to play.  they loved dressing up and putting on plays, playing in the barn, kitchen, and with the train table.  it was a great day of connecting and catching up! 

 

what a great few weeks we've had! :)
