1st day of preschool

we've reached a new milestone in our household.  greyson is now a preschooler!  i have been a bit worried about how he would like it because all summer he said he wasn't going to go.  whenever we'd pass his preschool he'd say, "there's my stupid school."  i kept talking up how fun preschool would be and spent a lot of time praying that he would change his mind and be excited.  the week before school started his attitude began to change and he was excited to go.  the first day was just an hour and the parents/grandparents had an orientation meeting.  since i was at work, my mom went with him. when i got home from work i flooded him with questions and found out that he loved a big dinosaur but thought it was boring because they had to listen to a story for a really long time.  he did not want to go back the next day.  :( thankfully, he didn't put up a fight and actually enjoyed the next two days.  he is thrilled to be reunited with ella and he loves that case is in his class too.  he let us know that he didn't need anymore friends because he already had ella and case.  he sure cracks me up! here are a few pictures i took of him on the first day of preschool.  he left his backpack in grandma's car, so these don't really look like "school" pictures but they will do.  :)  i think ashlie took a picture of greyson by the preschool sign so when i get it from her i'll have to upload it.

and on a totally unrelated note, i just got this in the mail earlier this week.  i am in LOVE with this website and see many future orders.  greyson is always saying hilarious things and i found the perfect way to document those things.  i know one day i'll look back and be sooo glad i wrote his quotes down.  i just wish i would have started sooner!

Greyson will be fine! I'm glad his attitude is changing about school. I'm sure he'll have good days and bad, but having good friends will help him through! Love those happy pictures of him!!
