fun fourth celebrations

sunday we kicked off the fourth of july with a sunday school party at the stank mansion. :) we swam, fished, ate, chatted, played, and had an all around fantastic time. the kids were wonderful and played really well together. monday morning at 3:00, john left for his annual fishing trip so i am left with the kiddos by myself for the week. i braved the crowds and took greyson and kenna to the parade and the park. greyson was enthralled with this old fire truck. he wanted to drive it really badly and kept staring at all the levers and knobs. he also jumped in the bounce house and had a good time. later in the afternoon we headed to the frye's for a day of boating, fellowship, and an amazing dinner of ribs! i only took one picture because i was a little preoccupied with the kids. i had to snap this one because tyler was so precious. he kept bringing kenna his stuffed animals and would rock her and put her pacifier in her mouth anytime it fell out. he told me i could buy him a baby because his mommy didn't want another one! so cute! greyson was being stubborn and was tired so i decided to head out before the fireworks. i wasn't up for any more battles...he sure can be a handful at times! he fell asleep in the car minutes after we left.

we did watch fireworks at my grandma's house with the nc clan and shaun's family. it was quite adventurous and greyson ended up going to my mom and dad's for the night which was an added bonus. :)
