friday night we had the maldonados over for supper and a campfire. we had so much fun hanging out with them. they are so full of life and just fun to be around. we decided to have a campfire complete with s'mores and singing (okay, no singing, but i could see vikki leading us in a little rendition of campfire songs! ha! :)). while we were out there, i mentioned to john that we should sleep in the tent since it's been something we (I) said we were going to do this summer. i was very surprised when he agreed and put up the tent at 10:00 at night! greyson was so excited when we said elijah could stay the night too. the boys were so tired and crashed right away. kenna didn't move a muscle the entire night either. john and i had a little more trouble falling asleep and i thought i'd be sore the next morning but i wasn't. it was perfect...although it did get a little chilly in the middle of the night. the best part of this-john said we should do it again!

greyson loved sleeping in the tent and having a friend spend the night for the first time. we will definitely do it again!

That sounds like a fantastic evening with great friends!!! Awesome! And pretty soon, John will be begging to go camping with us :)
YEAH! I'm glad you tried out the tent and John didn't think it was too bad. What weekends do you have open for camping?? :)
Elijah had so much fun camping with you guys! Thanks for inviting him! He never gets to do cool stuff like that with us! :)
