sprinkles of happiness

my mind is kind of all over the place tonight so we'll see where this post goes. :)

*i only have NINE weeks until my due date. i'm super excited! i can't wait to find out how this precious baby girl will be delivered. i'm hoping i get to experience the "oh my word, i think i'm in labor" that i didn't get to experience last time with greyson since i was induced.

*we still don't have a definite name. this hasn't really bothered me because we didn't have a name for greyson until pretty close to his due date either, but i would really like to start making some things for her room and it would be helpful if we knew her name! some names we are considering in no particular order (okay, the first one is my favorite but john isn't sold, yet)....kenna, keah, kendall, adalyn, and karis. now i should mention this list changes frequently and only kenna, keah, and kendall stay on the list. the last two names were just added yesterday as i searched through 2000 names...no joke!

*this past weekend we took the plunge and bought greyson a full sized bed, dresser, and night stand so we could take his conversion crib to use for the baby. he loves his new bed and his comforter. i'm excited to get a start on the baby's room this weekend! i've decided not to paint because the walls are a brown color and i am going to accent with pink and white. we'll see how it turns out. i may decide to paint after she arrives...time will tell.

*i have been obsessed at looking at craft/decorating blogs lately (you know, when i wake up at 2 and four in the morning and can't do anything else that makes noise because everyone is sleeping). i have so many projects in my favorites list to try out. i have to admit, i really don't have time to do all of these crafts and i am VERY envious of stay at home moms who can transform, make, design, and still keep up with everything else. i dream of the day i can be stay at home mom!

*since i didn't pass my first glucose test i have to go to the hospital on friday for the three hour test. i am dreading this day because i will have to be up super early to be at the hospital at 7:15. then i have to sit for three hours....i can already imagine how boring that will be. i do plan on taking some things to do, but three hours??? i just don't know if i can stay entertained for that long. we've been praying that i will pass this round. God is good, no matter what the results are and He has a plan.

*since my test is friday, tomorrow is my last day of work this week! i'm really excited to run some errands and buy some craft supplies that i need to do a few of my projects after the test on friday. this is what i call my much needed "me time"! :)

*oh i almost forgot, last weekend we also ordered our cabinets for the basement and my scrapbooking area. we can't wait until they come in! our basement will be that much closer to completion!

*i feel blessed...more than i deserve!

I failed my first one too Jess, had to do the 3 hour one at the Woman's Retreat in Goshen... it was boring! Glad to say I passed... I can't believe we only have 9 weeks left... March 28th is getting so close. I go in two weeks for my appt with the surgeon to get the actual c-section date, I am so excited! Take care! And we should get together while we are on maternity leave!
