greyson caught his first fish that night (unfortunately, i was not around so i didn't get to capture it on camera). he already loves fishing with daddy! he also touched his first fish...he was a little hesitant at first but then thought it was cool.
today was a scorching 90 degrees so i thought it would be fun to get out the sprinkler greyson got from his aunt jen. greyson would run as fast as he could, squeal, and try to drink the water from the constantly moving sprinkler. you can imagine how comical it was! 
john decided to get his trunks on and swim in the pond. the water was cold but greyson insisted he got in with daddy. he enjoyed this more than the sprinkler. it also gave me a chance to use my new lens john got me for christmas. i think i'm in LOVE! i cant' wait to use it more this summer!!

you know sometimes you have a crappy day at work- and then you come home and everything is better. Today was one of those days. I am happiest when I am with my bubba and my wife...
First, what a sweet sweet comment from John! Second, this post is amazing! It sounds like the party was a hit! Although, your parties always are :) The pictures turned out great so that lens was a great gift!
that looks like so much fun!!! and i just looked over and saw john's comment as i was writing this and that was really sweet! aww...i'm wanting to try out a sprinkler for elijah! he hated it a couple summers ago, but i feel like he might like it this year! so fun!!!

It has been so beautiful out. It makes me even more itchy for summer vacation...a few more days. How fun for Greyson that he loves water so much and he's got a pond in his backyard! :)
