1. greyson. he is now in a toddler bed. i'm thankful that i have a (almost) two year old who is very healthy and full of spunk. while the transition to the toddler bed has been a little rocky, he did much better the past two nights. he came into my room around 1 a.m. and i was able to put him back in his bed and he actually stayed. this is an improvement! :)
2. the sun. i know, i already said this, but i just can't help but smile when i see the sun. i even took my kids out for an extra recess yesterday just so i could enjoy it in person instead of through the window!
3. great friends. a few weeks ago some dear friends said they needed to stop by to drop something off but they wouldn't tell us what it was. when they came, i was so overwhelmed by their generosity. they had cooked a meal for us to enjoy as a family whenever we wanted. it was frozen and was enough to feed us four different times. talk about nice!! i've been having a hard time keeping it all together between work, school, kids, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. lately so that was such a blessing!! i didn't want to give away who it was from, because they plan on surprising people every month with this great gift of service. we really appreciated this!
4. the basement. although this has also been the causes of much of my stress, things are starting to come together. all the tile is in and we are grouting it tomorrow night. the trim is in process, and the carpet is ordered. it will be so nice when it is finished! i love going down each day to see what all has been done. fun, fun! this picture is actually from a few weeks ago, but i'm too lazy to go and take an updated one right now.
5. spring break. while it's still four week away, it is giving me the drive to push on. i can't wait to clean my house from top to bottom and that is how i will be spending my break.

what an absolutely fun post! you have so much to be thankful for and can i just say that you all are such a blessing in our lives!!! I can't wait to see the finished basement too...it will be awesome! And you guys have really put hard work into it...even Greyson :) See you Monday! :) Love ya!!!

You do have a lot to be thankful for and I agree...the sun does make things so much nicer. Now if all of this snow would just melt, I'd really think it was getting close to spring! :)
