Listen to this... I absolutely loved listening to this YouTube link I am amazed at the level of incompetence we are getting from our elected officials in this trying time. Ask any family in America what they are doing now that the economy is slowing down? They are pinching pennies and scraping by. What does our government do in response- spend, spend, spend, spend. I am so frustrated that simple answers to these problems are out there, yet our brilliant politicians think they can control this mess by throwing money at it. This is their solution to everything, just pass a Trillion Dollar piece of legislation. Get this- I will write down what the number 1trillion looks like ($1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)... I cant even imagine this number, I actually had to count out the zeros to make sure I had enough... Ugh...
I will also include this quote I came across several weeks ago that I really agree with...

oh dearest, you and your political opinions. :) i am just commenting since you keep asking if anyone has commented. just remember, the world may be screwed up and our leaders may be screwed up, but this world is only temporary. we have hope in much greater things!

We were able to come home on Sunday around 2ish. Things are still a little rough, especially after the surgery. We are doing well and adjusting to the new bundle of joy. Take care!
Great post, John! I could not "Amen!" it more. Did you know that with this most recent stimulus package, our national debt is rising to $42,000 per American....PER AMERICAN! That's $210,000 just for my little family of 5. Yikes!
