summer started to get a little more exciting as it was nearing the end. in the middle of july, we bought a boat so we spent every weekend on the lake. the kids tubed and have grown to love it after getting over some fears. john got really good at driving the boat onto the trailer.
i took the twins to get their eyes tested before school started. graham had perfect vision but easton had to get glasses. he looks so handsome with them and now people can actually tell the twins apart. we also went school shopping and out to eat together. it was a fun day before school started.
greyson went to an overnight wrestling camp and had to borrow a tent from matt so the littles wanted to have a sleep over. we set it up on our patio so the sprinklers wouldn't get us and we all managed to stay out there all night. kenna has been into baking and she made zucchini bread all by herself. she had made several loaves with grandma barb so i let her go and she did great. the twins are into fishing for fish and frogs. they have been skinning the frogs and saving the legs for a feast. we all are getting a little board of being at home and looking more forward to going back to school.
