kenna went on a field trip to potawatomi zoo. i was hoping to go on this field trip but this year they didn't let many go and i didn't get asked. i was disappointed and so was kenna. thankfully she was in a group with brandy so she sent me some pictures. kenna had a great time!
greyson also went on a year end field trip. i did get asked to go to this one but i said no. :) it was to connor prairie, which is an all day field trip. i just wasn't up for it but jennifer sent me pictures. greyson wasn't far from uncle toby and trent so uncle trent came and picked him up from connor prairie and spent the weekend with them. he loved being there without the rest of us. my mom, kenna, and i went and picked him up on sunday. we also went to ikea and bought kenna a loft bed. we ate at a wonderful pizza place and smothered bexley.
greyson finished up his second year of piano and had his recital. he did a duet with bereket (they also played it at church a few months ago but i missed it because someone was sick). he did a fantastic job! he enjoys playing and wants to stick with it.
lola had a sleepover for her 7th birthday. the girls spent the night in a tent, played, and went in the hot tub. it sounded like a lot of fun. they stayed up til midnight watching movies. kenna was a little grouchy the next day. ha!
the school year has come to an end and i couldn't have asked for better teachers for kenna or greyson. they both cried that school was over because they loved their teachers. kenna grew so much and is an excellent reader. greyson continues to excel in math. they both worked hard and had an awesome year.
