small things that make me happy:
oh my gosh, there are so many things. the first thing that comes to mind is a pair of gloves that are kept in the my shower. i don't even know what they are called but they are gold. my mom got them for me for christmas a few years ago and i honestly thought it was a stupid gift, but then i decided to try them out and they are amazing. they are kind of rough but they exfoliate your skin and make it soooo soft. i love them during the winter months when it is cold and my skin is dry.
pictures. i love looking at pictures and taking pictures. it's not uncommon for me to take a picture everyday. they are mostly of my kids. i used to use my fancy camera all the time but now i usually just snap them with my cell. i really need to get back to taking pictures with my good camera.
snail mail. like real cards or letters. not junk mail. in fact, christmas (picture) cards are pretty stinkin' great. i can't wait to rip them open to see who they are from. mine are still displayed in my house and probably will be for a few more months. but really, who doesn't like getting real mail?
cleaning day. there is nothing better than coming home after the cleaners have been to my house. i get the house done every other week and it's always a highlight for me. i hate clutter and since everything has to be put away in its spot, there isn't any clutter...for a few hours. it just makes my day!
getting my hair washed by my beautician. seriously one of the best, most relaxing feelings ever.
