we've managed to stay busy and somewhat sane this winter. greyson experienced his first circus with his third grade class. i went and snapped a few pictures during intermission. it was a fun day! greyson has loved having tyler at woodview and being in the same class!
we've had an unusually warm winter. the sunshine and warm weather have been good for my soul. just look at the warmth! we spent as much time outside as possible and also opened up the windows to try and get rid of some of the germs that have been plaguing us this winter. we've managed to catch every bug possible this winter. currently easton has a fever and has had it for four days. he's been pretty miserable.
kenna got to go to her first daddy daughter dance this year. aunt jen did her hair and make-up. kenna was beautiful and had a good time with emerson and matt, too. the girls didn't like to slow dance and preferred dancing with each other.
greyson played vertical basketball and showed a lot of improvement. he seems to enjoy basketball but i don't think its his favorite sport.
kenna participated in a cheer camp and loved it. she performed at a high school basketball game. i secretly hope she plays sports over cheering but she'll have to decide and i'll try my best not to influence her decision.
the kid's have enjoyed the hot tub a lot this winter. i usually skip out and let this be a daddy kid bonding time. as you can imagine, there is a ton of splashing and i hate getting my hair wet. kenna and i were posing and were photobombed by easton. i just love his smile! mornings can be rough when everyone wants mom but i make it work. you can tell who isn't a morning person in this picture! ;) the kids are also into making silly faces. normal pictures are hard to come by.
aunt jen is currently living with us and the kids love it! she was given all the hair doing talent so kenna is taking advantage of this and loves it when aunt jen does her hair. she slept with socks one night and her hair actually stayed really curly.
greyson and kenna are currently in swim lessons. we spend an hour at the pool on friday night and an hour saturday morning. it's been nice to catch up on blogging, reading, and even catching up with high school friends. they both are improving and i think we'll have one less girl wearing floaties this summer!
we are looking forward spring, but it's been a fun winter!
