{the last days}

well, the best time of the year is quickly coming to an end and we are trying to squeeze a whole lot more into our final days. 

the kids had swimming lessons for two weeks. i didn't get to really watch them much because the twins always wanted to play on the playground. greyson gets to move to level four next summer and kenna will stay in level two.  

our tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays have been filled with soccer. greyson typically plays defense. he isn't very aggressive but is working on it. this is kenna's first year and she is all over that ball. we've had so much fun watching them play. 

one morning i came out of the shower to find this. so sweet. and then a few minutes later it turned into the bottom picture full of ticking and wrestling. there is never a dull moment with these four!

we went on a trip to shipshewana to dutch creek farms with the fallers. this was so awesome. the kids were able to touch and feed many animals. we rode on the safari wagon where the animals would come right up to you and eat out of your hand. 

they are already asking to go back. definitely a fun experience. 

this summer has really been amazing. the twins are getting easier and we were able to be out and about a whole lot more. i'm usually ready to go back to work, but i can't say that  this time. i've really enjoyed just being a mom. i'm also not looking forward to having a new coach for the third year in a row (i'm afraid she won't be replaced and the whole school will have one coach), and our class sizes are going to be on the large size (my coworker is currently at 26 and i'm at 24-of course with registration that will change as some will leave and some new ones will come)...all of this coming off a bad year for test scores. we've also lost several teachers and none are being replaced. i think it's going to be an interesting year. on a positive note, seeing my class list did make me a little excited to get back in the swing of things. it looks like i have some sweet kiddos.
