john and greyson went on their annual father/son fishing trip in the UP. this year michael, gunner, amos, tyler, matt, and landon went too. they stayed in a house that belonged to one of micheal's relatives so they got to take showers and had electricity. john was thankful for that. it sounded like they had a great time and caught many different types of fish.
while they were gone we kept as busy as possible to make the days go a little faster. kenna and i ate lunch with danae and then went to the splash pad with aunt jen, alicia, and emerson. kenna learned to tie her shoes (i kind of forgot to teach her and realized school is starting soon!), and the boys showed off their poop spotting skills. it's usually greyson's job to clean up after the dog but while he was gone i did it. as soon as remi would go, the twins were on it. they do not like poop in the yard either.
that evening we went to the kosc. county fair with aunt jen. i let kenna get a wristband and she had fun riding all the rides. easton and graham enjoyed all the animals and tractors.
on friday we headed to wabash to meet up with my friends and their children from college. we had so much fun playing at the park, eating, and going to the city museum to play in the kid area.
easton loved kenley and kenna and ryan played so well together. we missed julie and her kids!
on our last full day we put together the hammock and played around the house after kenna's soccer game. that evening we went to dq and recovery park to play.
we packed a lot of fun in while john and greyson were gone but we were sure glad to have them back with us!
