we enrolled the kids in the notre dame kid's club. they get a t-shirt, lanyard, certificate, and an official card to get into the games. thier loot came in the mail last week and they enjoyed wearing the shirts and lanyards for a few days straight! we went to the girls' basketball game with the frye's who also enrolled. the girls came was so much fun. they had a lot of entertainment and the kids loved the dog trick show at half time!
john took the kids and colton to the boys basketball game. we didn't have a sitter so i stayed at home with the twins and greyson was thrilled because colton got to go with him. i don't have any pictures from this game because they are on john's phone. it sounded like they had a great time. he took them to chick-fil-a after and let them play.
last night we went to the hockey game! i love hockey! it is so intense at times. nd lost but they played against the #8 team. this was probably my most favorite game to go to. now we have a few months off before checking out the spring sports. i think we will sign up again next year! it's a great deal!
we had our first snow fall last week. the kids didn't even have their winter coats yet so we headed shopping to get some. they broke them in right away and played late into the evening. the next day we took the twins out for the first time. they weren't huge fans. they didn't like it when snow got on their snow pants, coat, gloves, etc. we got out the mammoth sled that my dad built and took them for a few rides around the yard and field. they seemed to enjoy that a little more.
only three more weeks of school and then we'll be on christmas break. this year is flying by!

So fun! It is really nice that you are so close to Notre Dame. You can enjoy a lot of the games! Hopefully we get some more snow before Christmas!!
