{our last summer days}

we are trying to pack as much as possible into the last week of summer! we hadn't used our annual pass yet to the zoo, so we had to get that in.  thankfully aunt jen came along to help with all the kids.  we tried to get our picture with the turtle, but kenna was upset that she didn't get to sit on the turtle first and pouted for the duration of our picture. I'm in trouble with this one!

i also attempted to get the kids milestone pictures.  it was a spur of the moment shoot because it was nice and cloudy.  i didn't get many and i didn't get any with all four of them.  no one was really cooperating.  hahaha...i'll probably attempt again when john's home to help!

i had a list of things i wanted to accomplish in june and july. i didn't do too well! on my last day of freedom i managed to knock off two more things from my june list-yes june. :/ the kids were such great helpers that we let them stay up late and go in the hot tub since it's been cooling off so nicely in the evenings.

as much as i have loved being at home, i'm ready for a more structured routine. school starts tomorrow and i just know it's going to be a great year!
