{wedding bliss}

we spent this past weekend in valpo for my brother's wedding. friday night jenn asked jen and me to get our nails done with her and her mom. kenna was supposed to go, but she hadn't seen john because he had been in california for the whole week, so once she saw him she didn't want to leave his side. i enjoyed the adult time after being with the kids by myself all week.

they wanted an intimate wedding, so only immediate family was invited. to be honest, i didn't think i would like it.  we hadn't ever met jenn's family and i thought it would be really awkward. but, it was actually really nice! her family was so welcoming and it was a lovely day.

greyson and kenna were the ring bearer and flower girl. they were so cute! the whole wedding was beautiful and the food was amazing!

the big kids enjoyed swimming at the hotel but the twins had a death grip on us most of the time. there was a little splash pad/kiddie pool and it was pretty loud in there. they are sensitive to noise so I think that's why they were so scared. towards the end they started to play a little. we were right down the road from bass pro so we planned on going there sunday but we all, especially john, were ready to come home.
