{one less tooth}

we were getting ready to go on our nightly walk/bike ride and kenna was straddling her bike, sitting down on the cement. i'm sure she tumbled over when she was trying to stop. when she went to get up, she stumbled and did a face plant right into her handle bars. i was watching the trip/fall transpire and everything seemed to be in slow motion. she turned and looked at me and i could see blood and that she was crying. i ran over to her and hugged her, once she stopped crying i pulled her away from me to get a better look and that's when i realized she knocked out her front tooth! i took her inside and had her bite down on some toilet paper because she was bleeding pretty badly. once it stopped bleeding, she was a champ and still wanted to go for our walk/ride. her lip is cut and swollen but now she thinks it's cool to have lost her first tooth. she is expecting a visit from the tooth fairy even though we never did find her tooth. i think she might have swallowed it. we are just thankful it was a baby tooth and we are going to embrace the hole that will be there for several years before her adult tooth comes in!
