{girl's weekends!}

it's unusual for me to get away for a night but lucky for me it has happened twice, once in august and once in september! i headed to indy to the women of faith conference with two of my college roommates, tara and lish.  we enjoyed our time together so much (and we missed the other two!).  it was nice to learn and grow together, as well as, catch up and just relax with one another.  the conference was great and it was refreshing to worship with 1000's of other women.

just last weekend i went to quaker haven for a retreat called cozy mountain lodge.  i was on the planning team and had to help prepare and lead a session.  it was such a great weekend! i loved spending time with ladies from my church.  the sessions were great, the food was great, and we enjoyed some down time watching movies and playing games.  it's so important to take time to recharge and be with other women.  i'm grateful john was able to watch the kids and allow me to get away twice!
