{double the pleasure, double the fun...}

we found out in june that we were expecting!  when i went to my first doctor's appointment at 12 weeks, she thought i was measuring large, as in already 18 weeks large.  she questioned my records but i knew they were accurate so she thought i should get an ultra sound.  on july 27th we headed to the hospital and found out that we were having twins!  we all are very excited.  i have always wanted a large family but knew this was the last time i was going to be pregnant.  God has blessed us with two little babies and we will know what their genders are this coming thursday! 

i spent most of the summer laying around feeling awful.  i have gone to bed most nights right after we get kenna and greyson to bed.  i'm thankful for feeling better now, but i still go to bed early and am pretty exhausted by the end of the day.  this pregnancy seems to be flying by but i'm starting to feel more and more uncomfortable as these babies make their presence known so i'm sure it will start to slow down. 

i had to switch doctors because russo has never delivered twins.  i obviously want the best drs out there to deliver these twins but i am a little disaapointed russo won't be delivering these two like she did with my other two. she said she wants to be there to assist so hopefully it will work out for her to be there when we deliver.  my official due date is feb. 4th, but i'm good to deliver anytime after 37 weeks.  i have been told that i won't be able to work right up until the delivery and they have suggested that i do not go back after chrsitmas break.  so for now, that is the plan.  it's starting to become more real and i'm sure after next thursday i'll be busy buying things and getting their room around since i will know what they are! fun times ahead, that's for sure!
