fun fair, fish, and funny!

on saturday we took greyson to a fun fair to support a little boy who goes to my school.  he has major health issues and has many medical expenses.  the fun fair was a way to show support for the family and also to raise funds to assist them.  we talked to greyson about why we were going to the fun fair because we want him to realize it's important to help others.  the ladies who organized it did a wonderful job.  greyson loved playing all the carnival games!

grandma also bought greyson three fish last week.  unfortunately by the next morning one had already died.  so when greyson won this fish he was so happy!  unfortunately, another one died this morning.  so in the last week we've had four fish and are now down to two.  tonight while we were feeding them, greyson prayed this prayer: dear Jesus, thank you for my fish.  please don't let mommy flush anymore.  help them live.  amen.  it was darling! he has a heart of gold (when he's not being naughty!). :)

a few weeks ago greyson asked me to help him find his headphones for his ixl.  i didn't think anything about it because he likes to wear them when he listens to music or plays a game.  a few minutes after i had found them, he asked if he could go outside.  i told him he had to stay on the patio because i was feeding kenna and couldn't be out there with him.  he got kind of upset and said he needed the whole backyard.  when i asked him why, he said he needed to run.  i didn't back down and so he decided the patio was good enough.  john and i were laughing so hard watching him run around the patio with his music jammin.  seriously cute and funny!
