we celebrated my dad's 50 something birthday this weekend. i know, it's sad, i'm not even sure how old he is! we dined at mr. ed's which just so happens to be one of john's customers. it's really a hole in the wall bar but they have wonderful prime rib and ribs on the weekend. we had a great time celebrating with no kids. :) thanks frye's for watching kenna and greyson for us! we appreciate it, especially since it was so last minute.
saturday we finally made it to a notre dame game with my brothers and two of their friends. we tailgated with some of john's coworkers where we ate ribs, bacon wrapped scallops, and other yummy food all provided by gfs. we had good seats and the crowd was very into the game even though they ended up losing. it was the first night game in two decades so there was a lot of hype. we also got free towels and they helped create the atmosphere because everyone was waving them for much of the game. i enjoyed spending time with my brothers since we don't get to see them very often and john was in heaven supporting his team. :)

It was so fun to watch the kids!! Tyler and Greyson played together all night! The game looked like a ton of fun...althought I wish ND would have won! :)
