greybug LOVES going down to the "ment". it's usually the first thing he asks to do when he comes home from grandma's. as soon as we open the gate he takes off and immediately starts searching for 'his' drill and 'his' tape measure. toys are no longer suitable for this little guy...he's all about the power tools!
he cries alligator tears when we make him come upstairs and the sobbing usually last for a while. most of the time we let him bring the drill up just to keep the peace. then we sneak it away and hide it around the house. the next day john usually gets a call from grandpa saying he can't find it because we have forgotten to return it to the basement.
i wonder if greyson will enjoy going to the basement as much when it's finished and all the tools are put away? my guess is no! :)

What a fun post!!! Your basement sure is coming along and will be AMAZING! You both are doing a great job...and Greyson :) I do love how you called him Greybug:):)
YEAH! I can't wait to see the finished product. You have been working so hard and I'm sure it will be worth it when John goes downstairs and you can watch "One Tree Hill" in peace upstairs! :)
