{greyson's first turkey}

greyson loves to hunt and he decided he wanted to try turkey hunting.  john had never been but greyson watched lots of youtube videos and learned everything he needed to know to be successful.  my uncle dave let them borrow his turkey calls and they went out on opening youth day. 

the twins were outside playing and heard a gun shot.  they came running in and just knew greyson got a turkey.  like clockwork, my phone rang and it was indeed greyson who shot a turkey! he was so excited!

john says greyson is more accurate than he is.  i think we have many years of hunting ahead of us.  john air fried some of it and then baked some in the oven.  it was really good.  they are in the process of drying out the tail feathers because greyson wants to mount them in his room.  i'm not sure how i feel about this but i don't think i have much of a say.
