{greyson: 12 years old}

greyson,

happy birthday to our first born.  you my son are growing up so quickly.  you love to ride four wheelers, shoot guns, and be outside.  you have also turned into a gamer.  you are always on xbox live playing with your friends. you got a gopro for your birthday and you want to start your own youtube channel.  we're still dragging our feet on this.

you've always been a snuggler

you are thriving at the middle school.  you have surprised us in a good way of how responsible you are with staying up with your school work.  you started off strong and earned all A's.  once wrestling started, your grades slipped a bit, but you still earned all A's and B's.  we couldn't be prouder.

playing xbox

you tried wrestling for the first time and fell in love with it.  you learned so much this year and it was incredible to see the growth from the beginning of the season to the end of the season.  you came home exhausted and had many meets that kept you away from us until late in the evening but you still managed to get everything done that needed to be done. wrestling also helped you meet some new people in different grades.  you have some good wrestling buddies.

you started this year about a half inch shorter than me. now, you are a good inch and a half taller than me.  you are definitely not my little guy anymore.  i guess you never have been that little. ha!

we are proud of you and will cheer you on through your ups and downs.  we love you and couldn't be prouder.
