{valentine's day}

we had a couple busy months with wrestling and work that it seemed we were hardly together as a family so when valentine's day rolled around, i didn't want to leave the kids and go out. i just wanted to be together as a family.  we decided to surprise them with a steak and fondue dinner.  it had been so long since we've had out the fondue fountain that the kids don't ever remember using it before.

the meal was a big hit and we had a lot of options to dip in the chocolate.  john did a great job cooking the steaks.

john ordered me a dozen and half of roses.  he was having trouble with the site so his order got submitted twice.  he gave kenna a set too.  i also got some flowers from students so we had a good arrangement of fresh flowers for a few weeks.

after dinner we played games.  john and the twins played mouse trap and the rest of us played sequence and speak out.

we had a great night in together!
