happy birthday to you! you had a unique birthday this year because of the coronavirus.  you spent your birthday at home with your family doing school work. :) you were so bummed that you couldn't celebrate at school, so on the last day before we shut down, you begged me to get some cookies for you to pass out. that seemed to help a little, but you shed many tears knowing that you couldn't have a family or friends birthday party.

 knowing you were bummed, i asked family and friends to send you cards for your birthday.  boy did they deliver! i made sure to get the mail each day and i kept all the cards to give you on your special day.  you continued to get them for the rest of the week.  it brightened your day!

you are learning and growing so much.  you love every sport and don't want to give any up.  you are working hard in gymnastics and have been working on three consecutive back handsprings.  you can do two but are a little hesitant to try three. you were going to play softball again this year and we are still waiting on the word that it can continue as it's been postponed.  soccer is your favorite.

you are doing a great job in third grade. you work hard and love to read.  you are helpful to others and have made some good friends in your class this year.  you are a bit dramatic and are on the sensitive side.  you wear your heart on your sleeve.  we are working on not caring so much about what others think. you are special and we love you for you!
