we had good friday off so i decided to head to fishers to stay at my brother's house thursday night and then take the kids to the children's museum on friday. i was hoping it wouldn't be busy because i figured not many kids had good friday off.
friday we got up and went to breakfast at another broken egg for breakfast. it was sooo good. after that we went to toby and jenn's to see bexley and tate. we stayed and played for an hour or so and then went to the museum. it was a cold, wet day and there were tons of people there. one of the workers said it was always one of their busiest days. joke was on me!
it was a little difficult to see everything we wanted to see because the twins had different interests than the older two. we bought a membership so we can go back and next time we'll be sure to take john along so we can split up.
the new outdoor sports part was really cool. i think that was the kids favorite part. since it was sprinkling/raining/cold not too many people were out there so we had it pretty much to ourselves. not everything was open, but what was open was awesome!
we rushed home because john was in a play at church. we enjoyed watching him and other men while they reenacted the last supper.
sunday we went to church and then to barb's house for lunch, an egg hunt, and to color eggs with the cousins. the kids always look forward to this. we ended the day at my parents where we had a fire and some outside fun.
when we really focus on what Jesus did for us there are so many emotions. it sure makes you want to live for Him!
