{basketball and family fun}

kenna played vertical basketball again this year.  she was very aggressive and enjoyed playing. last year she was so confused about when to be playing offense and defense and this year it seemed to click.  she also didn't score any baskets last year but this year scored at least one in all but two games.  the coaches did a great job explaining the game and working with the girls.  she is sad it's over! 

we took advantage of the vertical basketball night at nmc.  kenna took chloe along and had her over for a sleepover.  they played hard and had fun.  the twins had fun on all the inflatables but were kind of intimidated to go by themselves. 

 john and the boys have been going back in the woods quite a bit trying to clear out some of the fallen trees so it's easier to ride fourwheelers on the trails.  kenna and i decided to join a few weeks ago.  we built a little hut, helped stack wood, and john even trusted me with the chainsaw a few times.  i didn't like using it so i gladly handed it back! we will have lots of wood for camping and to heat dad's shed in the winter.
