{seven}

dear kenna, 

how is it possible that you are seven? SEVEN! you are so full of life.  you are a bottle of joy and a tornado all at once.  you need reassurance but also carry yourself and know what you want.  you are reserved and shy in new situations but once you feel everything out you are fine.  i think you inherited that from your mama.  ;) you are still very whiny but we are working on that.  you wear your heart on your sleeve and get your feelings hurt easily.  

you have turned into quite a reader. i have been so impressed by how much you have grown this year as a first grader.  You enjoy school but are challenging to wake up in the mornings.  you often ask for "five more minutes".  you have quite the imagination and love playing with dolls, barbies, and lol toys.  you aren't afraid get rough with your brothers and you can hold your own in a house full of all boys.  

you are active and have enjoyed trying new things this year.  currently you are doing gymnastics, softball, and piano.  you also tried your hand at basketball and will play soccer in the fall.  you sure keep us busy.  i'm thankful you are healthy and able to do these things.  you seem to be a natural at gymnastics and have progressed quickly in a year and half.  

you love being creative and making things.  you also love to ride fourwheeler and your bike.  youtube is also a favorite of yours.  you could spend hours watching unboxing videos and other videos of people playing and doing things.  it's crazy how that captures your attention so much.  happy birthday! 

this year for your birthday we kept it small and you got to have a sleepover.  lola and you had a blast going to culvers, shopping at tj maxx, and then you had a night full of activities and stayed up until midnight! you were grouchy the next day but isn't that a given after a sleepover?
