{snow much fun}

we had a snow day last week.  it was awesome.  they were calling for a lot of snow (around 10-12 inches) and they were actually right.  it just kept falling and falling and falling.  no one was disappointed in our house for the school cancellation! :) we watched lots of movies, built a snowman, and played in the snow.  i actually pulled the kids behind the four wheeler (which i don't like to do) on the sled.  we also got to try out our new plow.  i absolutely love the picture of john and greyson...we were trying to get out of a snow drift and were completely stuck.  greyson thought it was so funny! he just kept laughing and laughing.  thankfully our neighbor drove buy and saw we needed a hand and came back with his tractor.  

on sunday we went with the fallers, bennetts, and kristi and nicole to the sledding hill in nappanee.  we've never taken our kids so it was a new experience for all.  everyone loved it but graham.  he was cold and wanted to sit in the truck after about a half hour.  we invaded martins for hot chocolate after sledding.  

while we were at the sledding hill we saw a drone fly over us.  it didn't even dawn on me that they were taking a picture.  a few days ago i happened to see it on the nappanee parks and recreation's fb page.  you can easily see my yellow coat! pretty cool! 

the twins got a teepee for christmas and wanted to have a sleepover.  so they took it into kenna's room and they fell asleep for this picture. ha! it lasted a whole two seconds.  kenna slept in her own tent, graham went to his bedroom, and easton ended up in my bed before the night was over. kenna particpated in the nwhs cheerleading clinic.  she had a good time! my dad has some extra time on his hands so he has been making things in his wood shop.  he made a set of linking logs for the kids.  they are enjoying building and creating with them.  they even have been playing nicely together.  when it comes time to put them away it's a different story. i got graham and easton old man hats for christmas but forgot to give them to them until a week or so ago.  they loved looking just like their daddy. graham got a hold of kenna's old glasses and they were cracking all of us up being so silly.  it's the small things. 💕
