{christmas fun}

we started the holidays of right by going to look at lights. we went to warsaw to see the synchronized lights. they have several different sets. i enjoyed them more than anyone else but that's usually the case. the next day we took our kids to bass pro to visit the winter wonderland and to see santa. there are so many fun activities to keep the kids entertained and the bass pass texts are great because they tell you exactly when it's your turn to visit santa.
graham was afraid of santa so we all had to be in the picture. santa was able to trick him and john and i quickly ran out of the camera's view. santa was really sweet and made the kids feel special. he spent a good amount time talking to them.
our nights have been filled with Christmas movies,  playing with the dirt we bought at bass pro, and just goofing around as a family.
the next weekend was johns annual business meeting/party. john's branch has gone through a lot of changes in the past year so there were a lot of introductions and new faces. john won the new business award. he has brought in 2 million dollars of new business! he's in first place as of now to win winners circle. the contest goes until march so i'm keeping my fingers crossed-i've always wanted to go to california! we stayed for the comedian and then headed home. it was a late night!
on sunday the kids performed their musical. greyson has a speaking part. he did a great job memorizing and remembering all of his lines. kenna sang her heart out (very loudly)  and had a solo. she was a little scared and sang pretty quietly,  but still did a great job.
