we must play!!
john, greyson, matt, and landon went on their annual fishing trip to the UP. i like to stay busy to help the days go by quickly. it was rainy on thursday so i called my mom and asked her if she wanted to go to rise n' roll to try their ice cream donuts. john sells to rise n' roll and he said they were a must try. as mentioned in the previous post, i'm a sucker for ice cream and mention donuts and i'm there! ;) kenna and i both agreed that yummi bunni's ice cream donuts were better, but we still enjoyed these, too!
we also helped with the christian development center's lunch program this week at west side park. pastor sam did the lesson and the fallers and we helped. we only had a few kids each day but our kids enjoyed going.
on friday alicia and i took emmy and kenna to pottery bayou at winona lake to paint pottery. the girls loved it and were really creative with their creations. we went out to dinner and the girls giggled the whole time. they are such sweet friends.
we are always ready for john and greyson to come home but for now, we are enjoying the special time we get to spend together! kenna hopes she gets to go on the fishing trip next year, so i'll have to see what fun the boys and i can come up with.
