for kenna's birthday she chose to go to hacienda. so friday after school we headed to warsaw. she wasn't feeling the best but managed to stay awake and enjoy a fun meal.
saturday was her friend birthday party. she really wanted to go to chuck e. cheese so she only got to bring one friend and she chose emerson. they were adorable to listen to and had a great time. we played, ate pizza, and went to urban swirl for dessert. they kept saying they wished the day could start all over and were scheming to stay with each other all day.
by sunday night, ken had a fever and missed four days of school. we thought she was better thursday so she went to school but her fever came back. we took her to the doctor and they said she probably had the flu and it morphed into strep. she's on meds and hopefully will feel better soon. she's been so tired and pitiful.
at school we had a book bracket and as the final celebration we had a staff vs. student basketball game. greyson's ticket was drawn so we guarded each other. the kids came out on top and we all had a fun time!
