school has been in session for a month now. greyson has adjusted well to second grade and seems to enjoy it. here he is on his first day!
kenna started preschool after labor day. she loves it! she picked out her outfit and was dressed and ready by 6:15. she was so excited she could hardly stand it. she says all they do is play and she always plays with lola.
we went to a south bend cubs game with my work. we had fun and enjoyed the great company. greyson was into the game and didn't even want to go and play on the bounce houses. kenna however, was bored in the first inning so we went and played.
the next day, john and i went tailgating at notre dame where we had wonderful food including perch, shrimp, crab legs, brisket, and ribs. john's boss got us tickets for the game as an incentive for being in first place for winners circle. it was a great game despite the heat!
