{minor leagues: the cubs}

greyson is playing coach pitch baseball for the first time this year.  he lucked out again with great coaches (john played football with both of them in high school) and we knew several of his teammates which makes the games even more fun. there's a few boys from my class, keegin and wesley, on the team too so it's been fun watching them play!

greyson is a pretty good hitter.  he's able to make contact most of the time when he's at bat.  he started the season playing second base or short stop, but lately has been in the outfield quite a bit.  he's not too thrilled but when you are only in first grade and you are playing with third graders, it's going to happen.  i keep telling him that his time will come.  colton and greyson play in the outfield together and they have a difficult time paying attention.  it's comical to watch! he's learning a lot and i enjoy watching him.

john helps do the book and makes sure the boys are ready when it's their turn to bat which leaves me with the other three.  the twins do pretty well (as long as they are strapped in their stroller-we forgot it once and it was awful! they were everywhere and of course always going in different directions!) and kenna has fun playing with all the other little kids.
