{random break fun}

we crammed as much fun as possible into our christmas vacation.  we had a great time celebrating the new year with friends (i failed to take any pictures).  the wentz' came over and rode fourwheelers in the woods. savannah spent the night and did so great with kenna.  they played lots of games, watched several movies, did puzzles, painted, and played with playdough. we went skating at notre dame with jen, amy, and her kids.  they did great and had a lot of fun.

the boys got sick on January 1st and are still not 100% better.  they've been grouchy and clingy, and have gone through more diapers than i ever thought possible.  they finally ate a decent meal tonight and had a semi-regular diaper so i'm really hoping they are on the upswing.  break has been full of sickness...that's one thing i could have done without! (side note-how is it possible that their first birthday is TWO weeks away.  seriously, crazy!)

 

 

we were all a little sad to have to go back to work and school so sunday we spent time making birthday cards for bijoy and decorating gingerbread cookies.  it helped take our mind off reality for a while.  it truly was a wonderful break and i loved having john off for the whole two weeks. 

 

 

now we have crazy cold weather so we're off again tomorrow...boo!!! we'll see what adventures our day off brings...
