{chicago}

today we traveled to chicago with the hahns. we surprised the girls with frozen on ice and the boys went to legoland.

kenna and emerson wore their elsa dresses and made darling princesses. the show was great but didn't follow the movie exactly. other characters like minnie and mickey, buzz and woody, and snow white also made an appearance. the highlight was when all the little girls were singing along to "let it go" at the top of their lungs.:)

the girls got shaved ice and kenna dropped her spoon. you would have thought it was the end if the world. Iiwas so embarrassed! it confirmed to me that she is not ready for disney world! other than that, it was a fun experience.

the little boys had fun at legoland but i don't think the big boys did. they said it was packed and they spent more time in line than anything else. greyson couldn't say enough about it, so i'm glad he enjoyed it at least.

we wanted to eat at a nicer place but by the time the show was over and the guys came to pick us up, everywhere we called had a two hour wait. we ended up taking the kids to mc donalds while the adults ordered take out from the cheesecake factory. we scarfed it down in the car and headed for home. lots of fun was had by all, even though we will pay for it with grouchy kids tomorrow because they stayed up way too late!
