{thankful}

i'm thankful for...
-my other half. i can be completely vulnerable with him and he loves me just the same. we keep each other grounded and he is very active with our children,  loves God, and is a great leader for our family.
-my first born. he is very strong willed,  ornery as can be, but also has a very compassionate heart.
-my dear daughter. she's my only one and that makes her extra special. she's learning how to hold her own amongst all these boys. she's a doll and a spitfire all in one.
-mr. e. his belly laughs make me smile. he's on the move and i love seeing him waddle all over the place.
-grahamster. he's got the biggest smile and the cutest lip quiver when you tell him no.
-my family. I haven't always been thankful for them but with age we've all grown closer. i cherish my time with them and love how much they love my kids.
-extended family and cousins. we've had lots of cousin time this past week. they get along so well and enjoy being together. our first cousin sleepover was a success!
-friends. especially ones who encourage me to take off work and spend a day shopping,  eating,  and watching mockingjay part 1. ;)
-my job. of course there are some things i wish i could change,  but for the most part i truly love going to work each day. each day is different,  but also the same. my third grade team is the best,  too!
-my church and my God. without Him i am nothing. He has given and taken away. He has my best interest at heart for bigger things that i know nothing about.
-the elliptical. okay, maybe i have a love/hate relationship with my elliptical but i am trying to reacquaint myself with it.
-answered prayer. big and small ones. kenna prayed yesterday afternoon that daddy would get two deer at the same time. a few hours later john called and said he got one. when i told him about kenna's prayer he said there were two deer and he thought about shooting them both but decided not too.
-dishes,  laundry,  fingerprints, diapers that need changed, etc.   don't get me wrong,  i get tired of doing these things, but i'm also thankful. all these tasks mean i have a full house with people to create these things. i wouldn't want it any other way.

from the fullness of His grace, we have received one blessing after another. john 1:16
