i love easter! it is amazing to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. we started the morning off with easter baskets. the kids were excited! i'm totally practical when it comes to stuff like this. they only got one thing of candy!
we had a wonderful breakfast at church and had a great time visiting with our church family. then during service our pastor had the kids come up to help with the sermon. i just love it when he does this. the kids say and do the cutest things. :)
after service we had an easter egg hunt. they hid 1000 eggs! we stopped our kids after their bag was full. :) they got some great loot!
we ate at mom's and then attempted to get an easter picture. we used a little slide to prop the camera on and used the self timer. the first two were hilarious and we stopped with the third one even though it is far from perfect. it was so sunny and we didn't have much shade so the kids don't even have their eyes open. john and i just laughed the entire time!
