{upwards family night}

we have been enjoying watching greyson play basketball at upwards this year. he really had little knowledge of the game when the season started and just stood around. he is beginning to understand the difference between offence and defense and actually moves! his goal was to get a rebound during a game and he achieved his goal last saturday. he was so proud. he's had a large fan base...grandma and grandpa, aunt jen, the hahns, and the fryes. it made him feel extra special to have friendly faces cheering him on.
upwards had a family fun night last friday. there was skating, bounce houses, cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, and balloon animals for everyone to enjoy. we left the twins with grandma and grandpa and took advantage of all the fun. it was the kids first time skating and greyson did great. i always love spending time with my family!
i know this is blurry (thanks slow phone camera) but i still love it.  he picked up skating quickly.

That looks like so much fun! What a great idea to get all of the families together after the season is over. Greyson did a great job and I'm sure he'll just get better and better each year!
