we had a busy, but fun weekend! on friday night we had the hahn's and frye's over for dinner and took the kids on a hay ride. the kids seemed to enjoy themselves and we managed to stay warm with lots of layers and blankets. by the looks of that bottom picture we are teaching our kids to segregate early. no mixing of the sexes on this wagon! ;)
saturday morning we met the watt's at fashion farms in ligioner. the kids had a ball running through the hay maze, playing with balloons in the blow-up pumpkin, checking out all the painted pumpkins, and eating pumpkin doughnuts. saturday afternoon we headed to the notre dame/stanford game. it was cold and rainy and i wasn't too thrilled about going. we made a stop at meijer to get me a head to toe rain suit and boots. i managed to stay dry but i didn't wear enough layers and was a little cold. the game was pretty boring until the last couple of minutes when they went in to overtime. the stadium came alive and the atmosphere was very fun. thankfully they pulled it off...it made sitting in the rain worth it!

Thanks so much for hosting us, the delicious supper, and the hay ride. The kids loved it (even though we had to dress for winter!!).
